Can't log in to Beta!
I cannot log into my account. It says that my password is wrong but I didn't change it and I'm not receiving the email to re set it. what do i do?

Hi, we're working on fixes for these issues, sorry for the inconvenience! For now, please try sending yourself the reset password then click here: http://beta.sidereel.com/users/sign_out
Once you've done that, try logging in again with the new password. That should hopefully help for now, but if not, please let me know and better fixes are on the way.

yeah I'm having the same problem, except I can reset my password, but don't want to reset it EVERY TIME i try to login :(

Hello. my login is princesskami. Everytime i am trying to login it sais my password is incorrect, and when i want to reset my password it sais there is no user with this email, everytime i have to open my mail and sign in from there in order to open my page, please tell me how to fix it, thank you.

I created an account yesterday, 9/20, and received my email verification. I clicked on it verifying my email address of magnusomega@hotmail.com. After that I went looking through some shows and started tracking several. I logged in from my mobile phone today, 9/21, without a problem. When I got home from work and attempted to log in using both IE and Chrome I couldn't log in. After trying several times of not getting through I clicked on the reset password link and input the same email address that I used when I setup the account and the same address that I received my verification email at and it told me that there is no account with my address. All of a sudden my account is gone.

yeah the same thing happened to me, but when I tried to re-create my account it told me that email address already was attached to an account :(

I cannot log into this site, it said my log in information is incorrect, when I know it is. I've tried resetting my password, but when I put my VALID email in, it says "this email doesn't exist in our system" Fix this NOW.

Try adding info@sidereel.com to your email contacts, lowering your email security, then sending yourself a new reset password. That should help, but let me know if it doesn't! If it doesn't, please let me know your username either here or via email - contact@sidereel.com.

I am can't login. I know my username and password, but it won't let me login. I am using a different computer if that has something to do with it - it shouldn't! I even did the forgot my password thing, but I have received no email. I have had an account for over a year and check it almost everyday, so I don't understand what the problem is.

I'm trying to login with my account crusadin@gmail.com
However, it doesn't allow me to. It says invalid e-mail or password.
So I tried resetting my password but it says invalid e-mail.
So I tried creating an account again w/ the name e-mail. It says e-mail is already taken!!?!
I've put my e-mail in a note pad and copy pasted the process all over again. So I was sure that I was using the same e-mail. However same problem occurs!

I've been trying to reset my password since the new upgrade and I am not getting the e-mail with the new password. I've checked my junk mail folders and i've added sidereel to my contacts and still nothing. It worked before the upgrade. Any Ideas?

I created a new account but when I try to login it accept my user name and password. When I do a password retrieval it says no account under that email address. I confirmed that email address am getting Sidereel emails sent there. In fact, I can't even unsubscribe to those emails because I can't login to the account.

Hi, for some reason my old password stopped working. I've tried to reset my password about a million times these past few days and i have yet to receive any emails and therefore cannot sign in. I even created a whole new account and set up a whole new tracker and the SAME thing happened to that account. It's starting to get quite annoying...
Hopefully something can be done as it would be a shame to abandon this site as i have been a member for quite some time.
the usernames for both accounts are SabrinaMTL and SabrinaPer215. If an email address is needed to fix this please let me know

i finally got an email to reset my password. i did, and now, the day after, it's "wrong" again. no it's freaking not. Tried to reset it's saying once again that the email is not a user. this is getting absolutely ridiculous.

I had one original account that I've been using for a while. I updated the password then got the message that the password is incorrect when trying to log-in again later. I attempt to reset the password but never have gotten a password reset e-mail, mind you I've requested it NUMEROUS times. This has been over a week now. I decided to create a new account and re-add all my shows I've been tracking only to find out that it is giving me the same password incorrect pop-up when trying to log in again. I'm running out of patience...FIX IT.

I was having the same problem on the sidereel.com site, when I switched over to the beta.sidereel.com/ things sorted themselves out with a little bit of fiddling.
It was telling me my password was wrong even though it was right. I kept requesting my password reset but I never received the e-mails. Once I switched over to the beta site I think at first it was still telling me that my password was wrong. I asked for my password reset e-mail, it came, I changed it, it let me log in on the beta site on a page other than the homepage and I haven't logged myself out since, just in case.

Can't lock in cause user data is wrong.
Go to "reset password" but it tells me there is no such e-mail adress.
Then I click on "sign up" and suddenly I'm locked in or can lock in!!

Hi. For some reason, sidereel.com is not allowing me to log in at all. Whenever I try to log-in, nothing happens. Nothing. I enter my account info, press enter, and am brought right back to the "un-login-ed" version of the home page. I have tried seemingly everything to fix the problem. I have switched browsers, accepted any and all cookies specifically from sidereel (you lot currently have a whopping 28 on my computer, which makes this situation ever the more infuriating), and have even tried to reset my password (which results in the error message "The change you wanted was rejected. Maybe you tried to change something you didn't have access to.") Yeah, nothing's worked so far and I have never encountered this problem before in my time as a user.
Unfortunately, more and more nowadays I find my patience being tested with this "brand spanking new" version of sidereel. It seems to be more of a "downgrade" than an upgrade". Despite these headaches, a solution would be much appreciated.

I seem to be having the same difficulties as others in this thread. I'm unable to log in with my username/password. When I request a password reset I sometimes get "We're sorry, but there is no user for that email. Please enter a valid email for a SideReel user." Other times I get an email message, but the link in the email message sends me to a page that says "Missing Page? The page you were looking for hasn't been created yet. Would you like to create it?" (And it doesn't give me a way to reset my password.)
I've tried using both Firefox 3.6.11 and Google Chrome (7.0.547.41) under Kubuntu 10.10, with similar results in each case.
My email address is "pmichaud@pobox.com".

I've tried logging in to beta.sidereel.com, but my password doesn't work.
When I click on the "forgot password" link from beta.sidereel.com, I get an email with a link to http://beta.sidereel.com/users/passwo.... . When I follow that link, I'm redirected to http://www.sidereel.com/users/passwor.... . I use the form on that page to reset my password, which gets me logged in to www.sidereel.com, but it still doesn't work on beta.sidereel.com.

I registered on sidereel recently. When I clicked the Sign Up link it took me to the beta.sidereel.com sign up page and I registered there.
Beta site is working great, however, when I try to log in to the old sidereel.com it says I don't have an account and I can't register it because it always takes me back to beta when I click Sign Up.

the new site is rubbish, i like the old one better and i cant log in with my account i have tried reseting the password and it still wont let me log on i even tried to make a new account but it still wont let me use it and the new schedule and site is confusing, the old one was better because it was simpler and easy to use, i cant even watch any shows :(

Since the launch of the new sidereel I have been experiencing a lot of problems. Firstly, the website does not recognize my password, even though I know it is correct. The only way I can log on is by typing in my password several times and then clicking on the create account button. Secondly, my show calendar is not functioning correctly. It is always to the far right of my screen for some reason and recently it has not been showing my upcoming shows, it does not even have boxes around the dates. Please fix these problems or better yet, return to the old sidereel, which I have been using for quite some time now and have never encountered problems. Thank you.

This is pissing me off. When i try to log into my account, and i put my email address and my password in there. Why does it say that its wrong and then i have to change it. Now ever since i want to come on Sidereel, I have to change my password every freakin' time. Why?
