SideReel does not host any videos, but rather provides a place for users like you to add links to video sites for others to watch. Sometimes unpopular shows or older series that aired and ended before watching online was popular just won't have much or any online video content for users to add to the SideReel page. If you think there might be online content somewhere, you can make a "To Do" request here on our support site – http://support.sidereel.com/sidereel/... – where users check to see how they can help out.

I've tried looking at some old episodes of Another World, but not a single one comes up with any way to watch it. In the bar underneath the part listing the episode and season, there are no links. There are instead two empty boxes that say "no featured links available" and "no source links available."

I'm guessing that means that whoever was making the episodes available has shut down? I can't find episodes available anywhere else. Thanks.

Unfortunately in the latest two episodes of remodeled there is only one link added for each episode where you can watch the episode and neither of these links work. Could you please add more working links? I have been looking everywhere but couldn't find any link at all.

Our job is to simply provide a place for users like you to submit places to watch episodes of TV shows online, so we aim to create the most complete listing of shows and episodes possible. Ok, so SideReel doesn't host any actual content but I would have thought that there would be links to SOMETHING, I've tried searching for a wide range of things and I've tried browsing the list of shows the site claims to have links for, I have not found a single link to a single episode of a single show/documentary/movie/series etc. anywhere on the entire site and, frankly, it's starting to get annoying. What's even more annoying than that is that the tech support staff seem to be completely oblivious to this fact, when someone says 'there are no links to anything', why do you need clarification? If you don't believe us, try searching for something, if there are links to something, somewhere, then PLEASE, at least provide us with an example so that we know that we're just unlucky to be searching for something you don't have links to. Looking at the date of the earliest comment on this page I can see that this problem has persisted for at least a year now and I haven't seen a single helpful reply on the entire page. All you've said, at least twice, is that the site doesn't host any content, now look, I'm not getting shirty with you and I'm sorry if I come across that way but surely, there must be some helpful piece of advice you can offer? Please?

Often there will be a lack of links for unpopular or older shows - simply because users no longer add links to those shows due to lack of traffic or lack of content - but if you could give me an example of shows that you don't see any links for, I'd be happy to look into why that is!
  Examples of shows that I just checked that have links are Glee, New Girl, Game of Thrones, Bones, among others.

  I've tried searching for a range of things, for example; star trek, stargate, farscape, X-files, nature documentaries, history documentaries, the conquest series, other martial arts documentaries, science documentaries, I even tried searching for soap operas, chat shows, cartoons, QI, have i got news for you, mock the week, various other comedy shows etc. I also browsed the list of shows that the site claims to have links for, then after clicking on a series in the list, it says it doesn't have any links.

  Hi Jason, sorry for the confusion, but the only way the site "claims" to have links is by actually having them. Just because a show is listed on the site doesn't mean SideReel has links for them. Users have to actually submit the links first.
  If you're referring to the original Star Trek from the 60s, that likely doesn't have links because it's an older show. Star Trek: The Next Generation, on the other hand, does have links, as does Stargate SG-1 and The X-Files.
  I'm not sure about what specific documentaries, chat shows, soap operas, or cartoons you're referring to, but I'm going to assume they're not popular enough to have much content for watching online. Keep in mind that links on the site are submitted by users, so link availability depends on the popularity of the show and the content available online for the show you're looking for.

Ok, so SideReel doesn't host any actual content but I would have thought that there would be links to SOMETHING, I've tried searching for a wide range of things and I've tried browsing the list of shows the site claims to have links for, I have not found a single link to a single episode of a single show/documentary/movie/series etc. anywhere on the entire site and, frankly, it's starting to get annoying. What's even more annoying than that is that the tech support staff seem to be completely oblivious to this fact, when someone says 'there are no links to anything', why do you need clarification? If you don't believe us, try searching for something, if there are links to something, somewhere, then PLEASE, at least provide us with an example so that we know that we're just unlucky to be searching for something you don't have links to. Looking at the date of the earliest comment on this page I can see that this problem has persisted for at least a year now and I haven't seen a single helpful reply on the entire page. All you've said, at least twice, is that the site doesn't host any content, now look, I'm not getting shirty with you and I'm sorry if I come across that way but surely, there must be some helpful piece of advice you can offer? Please?

I signed up to watch an old TV show named Prey, but now I don't know if any videos are actually available for the show. All the episodes are listed, but there are "No featured links available" and "No source links Available". In the box where I'd expect to see a picture it says "Image Coming". Our job is to provide the most complete TV listings possible so that users can add links, as well as keep track of their TV-watching progress and create their own personal TV calendar. I started following the Dr Who Classic Series online by streaming the episodes from Sidereel, but I couldn't go past the 1st ones cause there are MANY, MANY links missing... The series should have at least some links to try and watch online, but most of the episodes don't even have one. Will you fix this problem, sidereel? "Official Response" my butt. You people advertise that we can watch ANY show for free and yet you tell us to go out and look for links to add to your EMPTY listings. If I had the links I would not waste my time making your site a better one. I would create my own links listing.
Anyone out there have any links to the complete Frasier series, let me know. That way I can dump sidereel from my bookmarks.

I totally agree to what you are saying. I am trying to watch a pretty old British TV show called, "Are You Being Served?". I can find the full episodes and when I click on any of the link to watch the show directly, nothing happens. I am so totally confused. Can someone please help me out with this problem?

  As is stated above: Sometimes unpopular shows or older series that aired and ended before watching online was popular just won't have much or any online video content for users to add to the SideReel page.
  
  But if you think there might be online content somewhere, you can make a "To Do" request here on our support site – http://support.sidereel.com/sidereel/... – where users check to see how they can help out.
