How about being able to sync the SideReel calendar with our own life calendar?
Plus we could all take that on-the-go on our cellphones and/or smartphones!
SideReel rocks!

Thanks for the idea Nago! I think this would be a cool feature, though we don't have it planned yet. What calendar(s) in particular would you like it to sync with?

Myself, I use my Nokia calendar every day!
But of course we'd have to see what everyone else uses.
I'm guessing Google Calendar is the top choice!-

It would be cool if we could setup tivo integration between sidereel and tivo.com
They do not have an API but it should be fairly easy to scrape a call to the online scheduling website.
I am a programmer and I can help with this if needed.

my idea was actually different from this. I am talking about having a button on your website that will launch a recording/season pass on the tivo

I'm happy to have calendar on my desktop. But it would be really useful to make full tutorial for noobs about it, I spent like half hour to figure out how to add it to desktop. Like if there was written "if you want to add it to desktop, you must have "x" software/gadget to open it with.

Great point - thanks for pointing this out. We'll definitely try to put something together!
Can you let us know how you did it? -

Dear sir/madam,
I'm a big fan of Sidereel, in particular the Show Calendar section. So first, thank you
for that!
Now my suggestion is, I'd really like to see a Sidereel Calendar iGoogle gadget,
since I'm a big fan of that too and it would be even easier for me (and I think
everyone else too) to keep track since I only have to log in once (to iGoogle).
I hope that you'll like this idea and ofcourse that it is possible to create this.
Thanks in advance,
Bjorn

Integrate the "Shows I'm Tracking" Calendar with Google and iPhone calendars, so I can get alerts on there about new shows to watch!

When I subscribe to my calendar via my Google calendar, it's works flawlessly except the timezone is off by 4hours and I can't change it. It's correct on my profile and on my google account, but it's greyed out when I go to change the setting for that specific Sidereel calendar... any ideas?

Were you able to get a solution for this issue? I have been trying to import it as well and I face this problem.

Hi there! A helpful user submitted a quick manual fix for this problem, but unfortunately an official fix for the calendar has not yet been prioritized (annoying, I know!) http://support.sidereel.com/sidereel/...

OMG It just hit me, since Sidereel is still in the process of creating an app for android devices, yes why not integrate the calendar w/ google calendar? Has there been an update for this inquiry yet?

Copy the link that's there and within your google calendar import a new calendar it will give you a space to enter a url...paste it in there

Also, would it be possible to remove that excessive "Watch..." at the beginning of the name of the show? It seems superfluous, and quite obvious as to our intent, and instead, perhaps add the link to the Episode on SideReel in the event description! This would be a great addition!!
