Tracker not saving what I've "Marked as Watched"
I can't get my tracker to acknowledge when I have watched an episode or season. I click the box, it adds the checkmark, but when I go back to the tracker, its still on the same episodes. I'm having this problem with different shows, and the same thing happens when I go to the individual pages for the shows. I've been having this problem for at least 4 days now. I am using Internet explorer.

I am new to sidereel (only a few weeks) and I have to keep clicking on a show I have watched every time I come in here. Not even the latest episode but the whole season. I thought that would be a cool site to use but getting kind of tired of marking shows that i have watched. -

Hey guys,
Just thought I'd let you know that there is something wrong with the show 'Being Erica'.
I've watched all the latest episodes and selected all of them as watched but for some reason it always says my 'next episode' is season 1 episode 3. When I expand it to 'all', all the episodes are ticked off as watched. Don't understand what's wrong...

Pretty much same dilemma with the guys above me. I use Chrome. Its been a couple of weeks now but still it does not save the episodes I already watched. In my case only a particular show does that but the rest of my shows are fine.- view 5 more comments

Every time I logged in at Sidereel.com and view my shows it always appear even after clicking "Watched Episode". I'm on episode 9. -

Hi you guys that are having problems with tracker saves, first of all make sure you are not "in-private" browsing or running your browser through a sandbox program if you are "in-private" then nothing gets saved after you close your browser, and if you use a sandbox or virtual platform there may be a probem with your settings. also make sure you are allowing your browser to accept 1st party cookies and try again.

Sadly, I’m having some technical issues. Tracker is not saving what I've "Marked as Watched". It’s only happening with the ”A Gifted Man” link and it started the 1st week of Jan. All the other shows can be marked, the issue is with that one show.
Help... where can I leave a message to the tech team so I can have my tracker checked?

Hi Geysha! While I'm sorry you've been encountering this issue, you've come to the right place to report it! What happens exactly when you attempt to mark 'A Gifted Man' as watched? Also, are you attempting to mark it as watched with the checkboxes on your profile tracker, on the Gifted Man page itself, or somewhere else?

When I check mark the Jan. 6th episode link it goes to the next episode. I check the next episode (Jan. 13) and the “You’re up to date” shows up. Then when I refresh/ log in, the link is back to Jan. 6th as if I never checked it. :-(
Weird part of it is that I checked the episodes on the “A Gifted Man” page and there they are marked as watched.
The issue is on my tracker only.

I've been also experiencing this issue with "House of Lies", Season 1, Episode 4 - Mini-Mogul.
I've been marking it checked on the Tracker many times and it keeps removing the checkmark when I go to check the Tracker. As Geysha experienced, the show page itself shows it marked but on the Tracker it keeps removing the checkmark.
I use Firefox. This is the only show/episode I'm having problems with.
I had the option "Hide shows I'm up to date on", not sure if this makes a difference. -

Luther S03E04 keeps showing as "not watched" in my tracker, no matter how many times I check the "watched episode" box.

Hi Renato! Sorry to hear that! Could you try 'untracking' it (or clicking "Stop Tracking") and then tracking it again, and see if you have better luck?

I'm having a problem with trying to check off a season i watched. To be exact the 9th season of red dwarf. Even trough i checked it off the list as watched it keeps popping up every time i open sidereel as a unwatched. In a world where almost every1 has OCD to some degree; some1 should take a look at this. Thank you :)

Hi zeus! Thanks for your report. Where exactly are you attempting to mark it as watched (on the Red Dwarf show page, or on your tracker?), and are you talking about the entire 9th season, or just a particular episode?
Also, what do you mean it keeps popping up when you open SideReel? Do you mean that it continues to be unchecked in your tracker list, or somewhere else? -

In the tracker on the user page (sidereel.com/users). Sorry i forget that the user page is not the default page, just the page i got bookmarked. Anyhoo. I keep checking of the 9th season and it always brings it back when i come back to sidereel. Right now it shows "Season 9, Episode 1 - Back to Earth (Part One)" next in line to watch.
But here is the best part. When i press on "All" it shows the 9th season episodes as checked but when it's back in next episode mode it shows the 1st of the 9th season unchecked and next to be watched.

Same problem here, I put checkmark, it seems ok, but when I return to the list of episodes, those watched and marked as wached appear in the list of unwatched again.. it wouldn't be such a problem if I didn't have so many tv shows in the list, I forget what I watched, I really need this. Although I don't use siderrel for links anymore because of so many false/spam, your calendar was the best. Please fix it! I was surprised to see that this Q was first posted 2y ago! :O if this info helps- this started happening maybe 2-3 months ago-

thank you for quick response! well, I think it happens for all the shows, or almost all. I usually go once-twice a week to my tracker and then one by one click all the episodes I watched from various tv shows..at the end of this clicking, I go through the list once more, and it looks as if I hadn't done any ckeckmarking just now.. But in the end, it's as if this trackers is playing tricks on me or smthing :P I don't know what's going on- I do this re-checkmarking few times, last time was just like half hour ago, but then in the end it seems ok, everything I checked as watched is really checked as watched :p I'm sorry if I complicated this explanation.. anyway, it's frustrating when I have to do checkmarking couple of times before it acctually happens

Sorry but I'm a bit confused about the problem you're having. Do you mean that entire seasons that you've already marked as watched keep getting unchecked?
