Why does it say I already watched an episode when I haven't????
When I click on the link to watch an episode, it opens a window saying "welcome back! you just watched episode x" but I haven't!! I tried different megavideo links (and my account with megavideo is open and all) and it keeps popping a window saying I just watched episode x!! I've been trying for almost an hour now, opening an account, logging out, etc... this is driving me nuts! What the hellis going on?

Keep in mind that when you click to view a link, it opens up in a new tab or window -- not on the same SideReel page. The "welcome back" pop-up you're referring to occurs in the SideReel window, so that when you're finished watching or close the new window that opened up, you return to the SideReel page -- therefore it shouldn't be interfering with the new window or tab that opens up with the video. When you click a Megavideo link, no new tab or window opens at all?

I feel like an idiot; but I don't get this. I've clicked on TV, then the episode and then i click on, for example, megavideo; but I never get to watch the show - all I get is a popup box that says "you have just watched (name of show)" and that's all. Also, when I click on the how I want to watch - I don't see a subscribe button. Finally, I'm not even getting a video player. I have disabled my popup blocker. Can anyone help me please?

This is a new PC. I sign in, click on a link, and a window briefly opens up and then shuts down and i get the pop up asking if i want to watch the next episode. Popups are not blocked in this browser.

With the new update to the site I am unable to watch any episode of any show. When i click on a link to megavideo or whatever else a little box comes up that says "you have just watched so and so episode" When i click it it just goes back to the show's list of episodes. I don't know how to actually be linked to megavideo or whatever the link is supposed to direct me to inorder to watch the episode

I think the "Welcome Back" pop up has some conceptual problems. I get it, but it isn't practical. There are some timing assumptions made there that make this potentially convenient feature virtually useless..
My first problem with this "you've just watched..." deal is that it doesn't stick around long enough. The only time I see it is before actually watching a video. When I come back to the sidereel search tab after watching an episode, the page has reverted to search results without the "Welcome back" so I cannot mark anything as watched without navigating through at least three pages to find a link to "mark as watched."
I think the "You've just watched..." timing concept *could* just be scrapped, instead making the "watch" options in that window should be available on the search results pages (put the the "Mark as watched" AND "Watch next episode" links on the top or side of the search results page.) Even if there are no plans for removing this confusing and virtually useless pop-up, add those links to the search results somewhere. -

I have a problem with watching any tv episodes of my favorite shows on your website. I have literally tried EVERYTHING to get this to work and so far nothing has. We no longer have cable at my house so I have been trying to watch tv on my laptop but can't seem to get this to work. I click on the links that I am supposed to and then a box pops up that says "You just recently watched..." when I didn't. I want to know how to get this website to work because I have searched the internet and this is the best site for watching online TV episodes from ANY SHOW imaginable without paying for it. I am beginning to get a little frustrated with this because so far I like this website but can't seem to get it to work. Can you please help me by telling me what to do right now? I need some guidance. I have searched through the help section and I have read people's questions that say the same thing that I am saying but the advice that people give them doesn't seem to work. Can you please help me with this problem because I really want this website to work for me? Thanks so much, nicoleleigh2013.

Cannot Watch ANYTHING: Please Help..-
Hi bubbles,
As described above, when you click a video link to watch, it should appear in a completely new tab or window, as you're going to a different site. The "you just watched" pop-up occurs back at SideReel, so it shouldn't be interfering with the separate video link. -

Why when we click on a link this pop up saying you've watched this episode appears? Sometime i have to clik on 3 or 4 to get the episode working. I really LOVE your website but that is annoying. Get rid of it please !
Also, the videos in autoplay....sometimes i open several shows in diffèrent tabs and it drives me crazy. The content of your videos is good, no need to put pressure on the user of the website. And sometimes they launch if we keep the page open after 10 minutes....which is annoying too.
But really good job on this site i use almost everyday !
Keep up the good work !
Cheers,
Julien from Belgium

pop up+autoplay.-
Hi Julien,
Sorry for the confusion, but the "you've just watched" episode occurs back on SideReel, so that when you close the episode after you're done watching, it appears to "greet" you upon your return to SideReel. The episode opens up in an entirely NEW tab or window - not in the same window - so it doesn't interfere with the episode window that opens up.
Also, you can log in and turn off autoplay by going to your profile and editing your preferences!
Thanks for the feedback, and let me know if you have any further questions! -

After Megavideo and Videobb shut down, I was able to watch some of the more current episodes of Hawaii five o, Blue Bloods, CSI NY theru either the CBS or Xfinity links. Now they are not working either. A box comes up with a message telling me I've just watched it when I haven?

CBS and Xfinity links are no longer working..-
Hi Dearborn - make sure you're not closing the window that opens to watch the video. The "you just watched" message occurs back on SideReel, not in place of the video window. I just checked the links you mentioned and they're working fine!

When i click on a link, instead of the link opening a new window, it reloads the page of links and says thank you for watching this episode as though i just finished watching it.

link wont open in separate window.-
Hi Meagan! Sorry about that - it appears that our recent update failed with Safari! A fix is currently in the works, but until then you should be able to use the site properly on a different browser if you don't want to wait for the fix to go live! So sorry for the inconvenience!

Ok. I've read all through the posts and your answers, but I still can't get the episode of Once Upon a Time (Season 1 Episode 3) to play. When it goes to the site and click on it, the list below the screen starts at Season 1 Episode 18. Nothing I do brings up the earlier episodes. What am I doing wrong?
-
Hi Kat! Make sure you're on the actual show page (sidereel.com/Once_Upon_a_Time) instead of a specific episode page. Pages for specific episodes only show one episode at a time, while the main show page shows all episodes.
